So it seems that Jeremy enjoying the nightlife that New York has to offer, has somehow made it into my Google Alerts on the top stories about Jeremy Lin. So the story is that Jeremy and a few of his teammates, Landry Fields, Josh Harrellson, and Jerome Jordan went out Wednesday night when the Knicks’ lost their final game against the Heat…and the reports are that they had a “wild” night out at two different clubs…SL and 10AK. The crew had several bottles of vodka and champagne sent to their table and they were mingling with “models” in “tight fighting dresses”. Many of you would think that reports like this would make me jealous…but it doesn’t. Instead, it makes me angry…angry with reporters for following Jeremy around everywhere. The poor guy doesn’t do anything all day but play basketball, go to the gym, and eat. I mean really?! Let the guy have some fun every now and then without making him seem like an irresponsible frat boy who chases down “models”/groupies in tight clothing. He’s only freaking 23!! and already acts more mature and takes on more responsibility than most 30 year olds I know (well at least the ones I date anyways). And as long as he’s not making out with random women, getting drunk every night and taking random women home…I’m ok with him having a little fun. (And he better not be kissing and sleeping with random women!!!)
And besides….the poor guy really doesn’t even go clubbing like that!! I Googled and searched with any terms related to “Jeremy Lin clubbing” and “Jeremy Lin nightlife” and the above picture was the ONLY one I could find…which says something about his character.
So here is what I, and other Lin Babies, think of tabloids accusing our Jeremy of being corrupted by models and booze….
Besides…I would rather think of Jeremy like this…
